If there's Earth Federation's grunt mobile suit of the UC timeline that stands out above the others, then it should be the Jegan. Firstly featured on the Char's Counter Attack, the mobile suit was given more prominent role on Gundam Unicorn OVA. As the main mass produced mobile suit of the Earth Federation, Jegan has several variants, and one of my favorites is the ECOAS type.
Jegan ECOAS is actually a D-type Jegan used for special task force, hence it has distinct color scheme as well as additional armor, sensors and weapons. The detail of this kit is quite good, even though there are not so many panel lines available. The kit comes with a bazooka, a beam rifle, a shield, and a beam saber with two beam types (long and short). The most distinct feature of this kit is the special visor on the head, which could be switched easily. Unfortunately, this kit comes with only three types of hands: two standard closed hands and one trigger hand for holding the beam rifle.
Interestingly, Bandai also provides some spare parts for giving more variation to the kit, even though it's not explicitly mentioned on the manual. You have options two use the normal Jegan head crest instead of the visor, extra crotch plate, antenna and head piece with different color scheme as well as the standard cockpit hatch if you choose to remove the chest armor. It's pretty cool !
The articulation of this kit is quite decent for a HG kit. The absence of front skirt armor provides more movement range for the legs. The shoulders has special joints which enable the kit to hold the bazooka without much difficulty. Overall, it's pretty easy to pose this kit with various pose, thanks to the good articulation.
The kit comes with standard marking sticker and foil sticker. There are only foil stickers for the visor, crotch and sensor on the head, which is a good thing in case you hate too many foils. The special markings for ECOAS are also nice and cool. You have options with several number sticker for the kit. Bandai also provide special runner parts to attach unused spare parts such as visors and the hand. It's not so special, but still nice IMHO.
Overall, this is one of the most solid kit of HGUC line I've ever built. So far, I have no problem with falling or loosen parts. Everything has gone smoothly from the building process to the posing, the articulation is nice, the joints are tight and steady, no loose/falling parts, and the accessories are nice (except for the limited hands, of course).
